Frequently asked questions.
1. How do you get people to participate in the show?
I give the audience a quick concentration test that lets me know who can be hypnotized quickly. Audience members who pass the test are invited to the stage.
2. How many people do we need?
The best rule of thumb is, the older your audience, the larger it needs to be to guarantee success. I've had great success with groups of teenagers as small as 25, but I recommend that adult groups have at least 100 people.
3. Will the show offend anyone?
Almost every event planner asks this question! This show is family friendly, tasteful and squeaky clean. Nobody on stage or in the audience is embarrassed in any way. If you want the show to be a little more risque, you'll have to let me know!
4. We don't have a stage! We don't have a microphone! What do we do?
The Sami Dare show is adaptable to virtually any conditions, and I will discuss details with you well before the event, so there's no guesswork! You provide a stage or stage area and some chairs. I will supply everything else needed to make your show a success.
5. How old do you have to be to participate?
I perform at a lot of state and county fairs, and ask that anyone who comes on stage be at least 13 years old. It takes a lot of imagination to be a great hypnotic subject, and the more life experience a person has the more entertaining they can be! Some of the best shows I remember were for retirees!
